There's room for boats to dock along the pier, a great sitting area over the water, spots for swimming and fishing, a great pavilion and grilling area, plenty of beach space, restrooms, and even RV hookup spots.Dec 22, 2014 · While Suwannee and Horseshoe Beach are the most prominent spots on the map (they have restaurants, marinas, condos to rent and boat ramps), Shired Island is just a “spot” at the end of a 9-mile drive south from the intersection of lonely CR351 and CR357 (there’s a sign!).

Beautiful Location. Shired Island Campground is a beautiful place to stay. It is first come first serve, and cost $10 a day to stay, with a maximum of 14 days. It has limited amenities. There are some power options, a few pavilions grills, and there is a bath and shower house, but the water is very sulfuric, and the bathrooms are not always ... Great place to stay. A little rustic but and the water stinks but can be a very relaxing place to sit on a small beach and let the kids run wild. We camped at Shired Island Campground in a Travel Trailer. Explore this 10.7-mile loop trail near Victoria Beach, Manitoba. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 29 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, camping, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
